"From topknot to toes and beyond"

Have you possibly been considering getting into the alpaca business or just becoming involved with the alpaca lifestyle as a hobby? Or, have you already made the decision to own alpacas and already bought a few animals, but aren't really too sure about your ability to take care of them properly? Well, this class is for you. We will be discussing topics that will provide you with the information on how to set up your farm, provide shelter for the alpacas and care for them in a manner that is easy on you as well as them. You will also find the interaction with others interested in the alpaca lifestyle will possibly produce some lifelong friendships, with some of those new friends becoming fellow alpaca owners. So, come join us for a day of fun, learning about alpacas with the chance to interact with others interested in the wonderful world of alpaca ownership. Information on local motels and restaurants, as well as driving directions to get to the farm, will be forwarded to those that sign up for the class.

Those that want to discuss specific topics not covered in the class are welcome to stay after class and participate in a free-for-all discussion session.

To be sure we are able to get the class completed and get everyone away that needs to leave by 4:00 PM, we will begin our class day promptly at 8:30 AM. Please try to be at the farm no later than 8:15 AM to facilitate enjoying the Continental Breakfast and settling in prior to the class.

Tuition: $45/person or $80/couple (or two from the same farm).
This includes a Continental Breakfast, Lunch, the lecture/discussion, and 60+ pages of student handouts plus a printout of the PowerPoint slides.
